Walk Your Senses! Explore Contemporary Art Spaces

In September, Maribor Art Walk returns to the city. For the fourth consecutive year, on the third Friday of the month, from 17:00 to 21:00, exhibition spaces, galleries and artists’ studios will open their doors wide to visitors. A diverse programme will include exhibitions, openings, gallery hoppings, studio visits and conversations with artists.
Maribor Art Walk offers an opportunity to casually explore contemporary visual art, meet artists, and discover the spaces that contribute to the city's vibrant cultural and artistic life. At selected locations, visitors will also have the opportunity to purchase artworks and directly support contemporary artistic production.
The event is organized by the City Municipality of Maribor and its creative partners Maribor Art Gallery, Trampolin, Maribor Puppet Theatre, Studio Habitat, and Tkalka Gallery in cooperation with private, non-governmental organizations and public venues in Maribor.
The Maribor Art Walk will officially open at 18:00 at the Artists’ Studios on Partizanska cesta 12, by Saša Arsenovič, Mayor of the City Municipality of Maribor.
ACE KIBLA joins the event with the exhibition entitled Reflections by Apolonija Simon, which will be on display in the artKIT exhibition space, the multimedia exhibition Gestures of Activation – Works in Public Space by Igor Grubić, which will be on show in the KiBela, space for art, and a group exhibition Non-Form, which will be held in exhibition space KIBLA PORTAL.
