KIBLA13YEARS: Lara Busch / Who Let the Dogs Out?

Friday 12 June 2009 at 8 pm, Kibela - the opening of the exhibition Who Let the Dogs Out? by Lara Busch.

As versatile as the number of her pseudonyms, Lara Busch navigates between fact and fiction like art itself. Guerilla tactics have been her trademark ever since launching the search for the prized pooch Georges at LookingForGeorges.blogspot.com. But with an Ivy League MFA, plus grants and scholarships from government ministries and foundations, she is certainly not your run-of-the-mill street artist.

For her solo show “Who Let The Dogs Out?”, Lara incorporates stencil graffiti on the streets of Maribor into a site-specific sculptural and sound installation at the KiBela gallery space – the first time she has blurred the boundaries of indoor and outdoor space.

The exhibition is on display until 27 June 2009.
