Marko Košnik: live-manipulation of topographic imagery

The new production of Egon March Institute came to Maribor after the events at Klanggalerie Tube in Munich (www.t-u-b-e.de) and in Brno, Hudebni klub Fleda (www.enh.mhf-brno.cz, http://www.enh.mhf-brno.cz/enh2008e.php).

Barbara Thun, singer, performer and composer, studied classical singing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin. Her compositions were performed in Berlin theatres and concert venues like Deutsches Theater and BKA, and at several festivals in Germany, the Czech Republic and Spain.

Marko Košnik acts as a performer, writer, musician, installation artist, organizer, producer,  video and polymedia artist. He started his carrier in 1980's as a cofounder of Laibach. Since the beginning of his collaborative projects he was producing creative environments, open labs and media platforms. Crossing from acoustic studies of subterranean Karst to perfomances and installations with sonorostatics (electro-acoustic plates) he began his own productions within Egon March Institute, and started building interactive environments.
