Stane Špegel: REFLECTIONS AND ECHOS

KiBela, space for art in ACE KIBLA, kindly invited you to attend the opening of the Stane Špegel project Reflections and Echos that took place on Wednesday, the 16th of May 2007 at 9pm in MMC Kibla. At the same time we marked the beginning of the ninth creative communication festival Magdalena.


Stane Špegel project combines graphic and video works (Reflections) and author music (Echos). Project is based on photographic and video presentations of industrial environments - power plant Šoštanj and Velenje coalmine. Audio foundation Echos presents combinations of analogue and electronic sounds that intertwine with the natural sounds of Saleška valley.

Stane Špegel alias HouseMouse is a composer, producer and multimedia content author. In twenty years on Slovenian art scene he has published six solo albums and six albums as a member of various music groups. He also created more than one dozen solo audio-visual performances.
