Marko Ornik: Feeling of the aerial space

On Friday, the 10th of November 2006, at 8pm you were kindly invited to KiBela gallery to attend the opening of the exhibition by the author Marko Ornik . The exhibition was opened until the 25th of November.

10 or more big screens are placed next to each other approximately 2m above the floor.The main motive is a panoramic photograph of a landscape compositionally divided in two parts: in the lower part one third of the screen is represented by grass, above the grass open sky can be seen. In the lower part blades of grass are swinging and sky is sometimes overflown by supersonic plane that leaves behind a white trace.

Installlation includes the sound of far away planes, distant traffic, sounds of the meadow... On the floor of the gallery pillows were placed where visitors were able to relax in sights and sounds. Gallery was transformed into a new, artificial environment, relaxation oasis, chill-out space.
