Architectural trienale in Hamburg

Hamburger Architektur Sommer is a trienale that takes place (this is its 5th trienale) between May and September in various galleries and locations in Hamburg, Germany. Its goal is to introduce different aspects of contemporary creations in the field of architecture and city development through numerous exhibitions, conferences, movies, round tables and other artistic works.

Festival is an initiative of leading Hamburg architects: Juergen Boege and Dr. Ulrich Schwarz.

»Brave modern world!« exhibition

The opening of the exhibition took place on the 25th of June 2006 on Slovenian independance day and lasted for 14 days. Its goal is to promote Slovenian architectural visions.

Exhibition took place in Konsalt Grosse Bergstrasse 156, Altona (Forum Altona) gallery, Hamburg, Germany.

Presentation of the LJUBA 001 RECYCLED CITY project:

This project was developed by 3rd year students of Faculty for architecture in Ljubljana under the supervision of professor Fedja Košir, assistant Primož Jeza and architect Rok Pernuš. It's a mobile modular pavillion system that enables quick set up and adaptability with its innovative pneumatic construction. In this way it addresses the problem of quick adaptability to the existing space problems in cities. Interventions into exsiting Slovenian environments will be presented with the help of photo processing.

Ljuba 001 project contributes to the global vision of space development Slovenia 2020 and it's directed towards solving the strategical problems of to-day. It is a vision that offers answers and places the Slovenian environment into the role of active solvers of global problems of the cities, technologies, energy... At the same time being local, specific for Slovenian environment and thus interesting for a wider European (at least) public.
