Kibla hosted european media centres

From Thursday the 7th of December till Sunday the 10th of December 2006 ACE Kibla hosted some of the European media centres on a workshop of connection and creation of a joint production-presentation platform, that will enable a successful international collaboration and an exchange of projects and authors, especially in the field of intermedia art.

Participants were: Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, Vienna School of Applied Arts, MoKS – Center for Art and Social Practices from Estonia and Turkish art producer Apartment Project from istanbul. Egon March Institut from Slovenia will also be collaborating. Three day socializing tried to find common points of reality of media producers and operators and upgrade them.

Are autonomous cultural forms a reality or already a past?
Where lies the future of techologically intertwined artistic expressions?
Can art be ecological and how?

Up until now collaboration, exchange and creative multilog has been happening within the spheres of Multimedia Centres Net of Slovenia M3C (www.m3c.si). Now we wish to continue collaboration on international level.
