Anne Roquigny: On demand: Contemporary French video

On Friday, the 16th of September 2005, at 8pm we have opened an installation/projection of the video selection which was prepared by Anne Roquigny especially for Kibla. At the opening we listened to the selector's lecture that took us on a short presentation journey of her work. Repetition of the lecture took place on Saturday, 17th of September 2005.

Selection of the contemporary videos that were made by young French artists, was opened until the 26th of September in KiBela gallery.

Videos were works of young French artists, videasts, film-makers and others.

Gallery visitors were able to enjoy watching the moving pictures and take a walk through French video production of more than thirty French artists. Along with the exhibition a booklet was published.

In the last ten years Anne Roquigny specialized in the field of production, programme, coordination and promotion of multimedia events. In the year 1999 she joined one of the first new-media centres CICV Pierre Schaeffer as an art coordinator and manager of the international urban multimedia Interferences festival programme, later she became director of this centre. Between the years 2002 and 2004 she coordinated projects for Digital Arts Centre in Paris that is intended for digital production and contemporary music.
