TRANSIT DAYS by Slovenian part, Cluj, Romunija

Gostovanje v romunskem mestu Cluj, junij 2002:
ART-TRANCE
, different visual aesthetic approaches which open the doors of perception of classical and electronic art media

Artists:

Marko Jakše, paintings
Marko Jakše is a classical painter, born 1959 in Ljubljana, 1987 graduated on Academy for visual arts in Ljubljana. He conquered the slovenian art scene with a fascinant visual metaphors, he perverts slovenian catholic menthality. From one side provocative and from the other melancholic he never respects the common ethic, he's playing with anything human mind could produce. Contemporary surrealistic, collective unconscious, mad and highly emotional. For Jakše a gravitation is a light burden, he swims, runs and flies at the same time.

Borut Popenko/Polona Pokljukar, video tapes and installations
Visual artists. They works in different visual media – from painting, photography, visual space installations to video. They emphasize visual on every possible level. Visual perception, form and colour is a base to everything we see, no matter where is the source. Borut Popenko is a vivid visual artist on a mariborian, slovene and international scene more then ten years. His curriculum vitae extends from Maribor to Mostar, Halle and India.

Dejan Štampar: Mini Kino (Personal Cinema), mobil installation
He is an architect, interier designer, visual communication designer and artist. He graduated on Faculty for Architecture in Ljubljana. Numerous products, designs and activities on many other fields. The Personal Cinema is a mobil and flexibile aparatus, similar to an old photographic camera. Its interieur is fully technically equipped for internet, video, dvd installations. Basically it is a perfect “hall” for one person.  and different electronic installations.

Magdalena Pederin: The Name is an Anagram, sound and visual installation (on dvd).
The composition lays on dvd projection, where is visible half a million Da se podsjetimo u riječniku hrvatskog jezika matrica je:1. kalup s pomoču kojega se lijevaju slova, novac, medalje itd.
Magdalena Pederin, 2001.

Matjaž Krivic: Kaliyuga, photodigital animation (on dvd)
V koledarju hindujske kulture Kaliyuga sledi obdobju, kjer intuicija prevladuje nad razumom.
Ema Kugler: HomoErectus, video (tape)
