Human Rights and Development Cooperation - workshop

On Thursday 8 April 2010, a workshop on human rights based approach to development cooperation took place between 4.30 pm and 7.30 in Kibla Multimedia Centre. The workshop was organized by Ekvilib Institute from Ljubljana.

The workshop presented the basic concepts of human rights and development cooperation, a quick overview of Slovenian and European development policy and practice, and the so-called Human Rights Based Approach to Development and its application in development projects.

The workshop was intended for everybody wishing to learn more about the basic concepts of the human rights based approach to development cooperation.
