Jaša: Sweet Life, film screening

"Sweet Life is only an illusion, yet so in all its presence distributed among various types of communication from the pub-like "D'you know that..." to the last film. Each of us has his/her own hidden script. We all live our own story, the only difference being how much we really perform it, how much we are willing to do or sacrifice for it."

Ganes Pratt Gallery from Ljubljana is hosting the exhibition In Good We Trust by Jaša until 16/05/2008. Within the project his mid-length film Sweet Life has been premiered in Glej theatre, now to be screened in Maribor for the first time.

"The main thread of the project In Good We Trust is the light, transforming the existing into works of art during the course of the project, at the same time depriving the artistic work of the stability of perception. The project by Jaša exposes a discontinuity of decisions in each work of art, as well as unstableness of meanings that are formed in life, the variability of identity in the contemporary world."
