Pekarna today.tomorrow.now - discussion

Monday _ 23.1.2006 at 12:00 Kibla . Maribor . Slovenia

It seems that on Maribor cultural-artistic scene you can always find the ideal scapegoats, some ideal excuses that are supposedly preventing and hindering the progress. There is always a lot of  crying and moaning. Sometimes it seemst that one's own gardens are cultivated too selfishly, that no one sees the bigger picture or just sees one's own progress to the detriment of another. There is no communication, no dialogue, no discussion, no adjustment and definitely no common vision that could bring a strengthened and planned presentation of various events and contents.
Many things are left unsaid and this constant postponing of cooperation can only cause more damage. To the public and to the town, obviously. To the recipients who are necessary for the existance of culture and art, for the existance of various artistic forms and quality projects, for the existance of life variety and the required diversity.

Time is know and lets begin to take the advantage of the potential of the town and its citizens. It's time to give an affirmative answer to the art and the culture and to their production. Let's begin with this huge, unexploited platform. With its present and above all its . With the visions, possibilities of cooperation, progress. Local for global respectively global for local.
