Culture Bazaar, Cankarjev dom (Ljubljana)

This year, the Ministry of Culture has in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sport, The National Education Institute and various cultural institutions again organised THE CULTURE BAZAAR – CULTURE PRESENTS ITSELF 2010, which took place in Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana on 20 May 2010. The executive producer of the event was Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana.

More than 150 cultural institutions and freelance cultural workers from across Slovenia, whose activities of high quality are partly funded by the Ministry of Culture, presented their work within the diverse programme and in exhibition spaces.

The Culture Bazaar is intended for experts in educational institutions at all levels of education: kindergarten, primary school and secondary school teachers, school librarians, education counsellors as well as residential advisors in boarding schools, students of various pedagogical courses and anybody who considers the education in culture and arts as one of major elements in education.

The Culture Bazaar 2010 has been organised as a form of additional expert training. Expert workers from educational institutions were able to attend lectures, workshops and expert discussions on various fields of art based on their own interests and needs, and receive related participation certificates.
