In the wonderful world of horses - children workshop

MMC KIBLA has prepared a surprise for children during their winter holidays. At Kamnica racetrack we organised a friendly gathering of children and horses. Sports activity in nature was accompanied by an art workshop. The friendly gathering with horses titled IN THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF HORSES took place on Saturday 28/02/2009 at 5.30 pm at Kamnica racetrack, where the city horses reside.
Children were taken to the world of horses by Vlasta Barl. In the stable they first encounterd the gentle nature of horses and some of their basic characteristics. Then they gathered at the riding arena and had a go at riding. The basic riding skills were presented by the riding instructor Vesna Rizman. The event completed with an art workshop conducted by Urška Babuder, also taking place at Kamnica racetrack.
A workshop in the safe environments of a kind herd of horses was a new opportunity for children to experience a genuine contact with nature and horses.
