MIGAV Music Cycle Boris Shershenkov: MCMVLT (Multi-Carrier Modulated Visible Light Transmissions) sound and light performance Friday, 6 February 2026, at 7 p.m. MMC KIBLA
We invite you to the first event of the MIGAV Cycle in 2026, for which artist, researcher, inventor Boris Shershenkov has prepared a unique sound and light performance MCMVLT (Multi-carrier Modulated Visible Light Transmissions) and will take place on Friday, 6 February 2026, at 7 p.m. at MMC KIBLA.
MCMVLT is spatial light-sound performance for the custom-made modular phonoptic interface, optomechanical devices and live electronics combining audible light and visible sound transformations with various synthesis and modulation techniques for the real-time creation of the multimodal audiovisual feedback environment.
Boris Shershenkov – media artist and researcher, Ph.D. (candidate of technical sciences), educator, and musical instrument designer. Focusing on projects that develop new methodologies in technological and sound art, he investigates the relationship between humans and technology, combining modern techniques with media archaeological research. As a musician, he is actively working in the areas of live electronics and electroacoustic improvisation, both solo and in collaboration with other musicians and artists.
