INTEGRATED PRACTICES IN ART AND ELECTRONICS

You are cordially invited to the workshop of electronic textiles entitled Signal Glove, which will take place on Saturday, 9 December 2023 at 10 am, under the mentorship of a member of the ČIPke initiative, Lavoslava Benčić, at KIBLA PORTAL, Valvasorjeva ulica 40, Maribor.

During the workshop, the mentor will give a practical demonstration of the e-textile process, in which participants will learn the basics of e-textile design and use electronic elements to create a unique interactive textile fashion accessory. A cyclist (or pedestrian) wearing gloves with fast flashing super-bright LEDs on the top surface of the glove is much easier to spot by anyone in traffic at night or in low visibility, helping to improve road safety, especially on winter days.

- no prior knowledge or special skills are required to attend the workshop
- duration: 4 hours (from 10 am to 2 pm)
- for participants over 13 years and adults
- workshop for up to 10 people
- participants take home their products at the end of the workshop
