KIBLA receives the Best Gallery Award at the Art Fair Nesvrstani

This year, KIBLA once again took part in the international Boutique Art Fair Nesvrstani (Non-Aligned) in Zagreb, which took place from 29 June to 3 July 2022 at Lauba – House for People and Art. 13 national and international galleries and 21 solo exhibitors participated in the fair.

At this year's fifth edition, KIBLA was awarded the »Black Tree of Lauba« (»Crno drvo Laube«) prize for the best gallery and installation. KIBLA's pavilion entitled Just an Illusion curated by Peter Tomaž Dobrila included works by painters Marko Jakše and Rok Predin and sculptor Bojana Križanec. For the presentation the curator selected three oil paintings entitled Males, Blind Tempter of Virgins, and If Elephants Could Fly ... by Marko Jakše, a series of four digital paintings entitled Leap Year by Rok Predin, and three marble sculptures, Spinning Top, Dialogue, and Bed for a Rolling Stone by Bojana Križanec.
