3D MODELING- Pre-event to the KIBLIX+MFRU=2016

The workshop will be held on Wednesday, 20 April 2016, at 5 p. m. at MMC KIBLA.
The 3D MODELING workshop is related in terms of practice and contents with the upcoming festival KIBLIX+MFRU=2016, where art, technology and social commitment intertwine. Creativity and an informal way of learning and acquiring knowledge will open the doors to the world of three-dimensional shapes.

The course will take place at the premises of MMC KIBLA, Kneza Koclja Street 9, 2000 Maribor, in four individual sessions – workshops. The first lecture/workshop will be held on Wednesday, 20 April 2016, at 5 p. m. It is desirable and recommended that you attend the course with your own computer equipped with a suitable program (for example: Zbrush, 3ds max, 3D maze, blender), as this will make it easier to establish a flowing and unobstructed learning process.

The workshop mentor Jan Sterniša graduated from the technical college Academia as an engineer of media production. He is engaged in 3D and spatial design and animation. He participated in the exhibition Robot Shop in the Cultural Incubator as a 3D animator, and led a workshop Modding Half-Life 2, where the participants were taught to modify computer games. As a 3D designer he was involved in the implementation of the project Cybernetic theater, the project Concerto for 3D printers (2013) and in the production of the project Corpus Indeterminata 3D by sculptor Zoran Srdić Janežič (2013).
