MORE ABOUT ...

TONI JARVIS (Toolroom Records)
broken beats laced with electro licks

A whirlwind behind the decks. With her roots in music and fashion, Toni stylishly sliced through the musical clones, and drones, with her own unique, choppy, chunky, weird and wonderfully wonky style, leaving dance floor devastation in her wake.

Toni has played alongside Paul Oakenfold, M.A.N.D.Y and D Ramirez & the Scratch Perverts across the globe, including the infamous Ministry Of Sound and the massive Gatecrasher Summer Sound System. Currently working at the hallowed Toolroom Towers, she mixes and engineers the weekly Toolroom Knights Radio show which can be heard on Ministry of Sound Radio.

SHAZALAKAZOO
Balkan Breakz - breakbreat à la Balcan

Milan Djurić - computer, midi-controllers, vocal
Uroš Petković - computer, turntables

An eclectic duo from Belgrade, mixing breakbeat, drum'n'bass and similar electronic beats with computerised folk or folklore-based rhythms of the Balkan.
Regular guests of numerous European clubs and festivals, they have repeatedly performed at Exit, Seriouspop and Ostefestival. Their music keeps appearing on various dance compilations such as Belgrade Coffeeshop v. 2, Croatian Bombardiranje New Yorka and Media Mediterranea and on British Mute magazine compilation.

DJ ROCCA (IMPORTbreakz)

Rocca is one of Maribor and Slovenia's best DJ's.. Fact! He started out playing house music, but soon realised that breakbeat was the only thing for him. He's got funk coming out of his fingers and he knows how to rock a party. He was resident DJ in Supernova club in Pekarna (Maribor) and regularly plays all over Slovenia. He also played in Klub K4 (Ljubljana), Springfestival (Graz, Austria) and in summer
2008 at Outlook Festival (Croatia).
He played along some of the world's greatest DJs and producers from the UK - Soul of man, Stanton Wariorrs, Lee Coombs, Hannah Holland, General Midi, Cut la Roc, Krufty Kuts, Chad Jackson and many others.

A few words about  IMPORT:
IMPORT is a clubnight run by resident DJs Benitez..! (UK) and the LuckyRok duo (Luke/UK & Rocca/Slo); three musketeers of mangled musical mayhem dedicated to importing the finest DJ talents to Slovenia! As they don't like to pigeonhole their style at IMPORT, they describe their music policy as 'dirtyelectrotech:filthyfunkbreakz'. So expect to hear filthy/dirty breakbeat, house, electro, hip-hop and more ...

DJ TITO
A recipe for dancing

Mixing traditional Roma rhythms with scents of Orient, Africa and South America and spicing it up with the freshest herbs, grown on the music gardens worldwide, the proud owner of his own ethnic music record store will make you shout for more.

He's been building up people's moods with music from very early age, first at school dances, moving on to festivals in Europe and in Slovenia and landing (for now) as a regular in Ljubljana's Gromka, Yalla Yalla and Menza pri koritu.
