The Duri Online Platform Is Live

The Duri Online Platform Is Live

Last year, together with our consortium partners, the Idrija 2020 Association, and the Dobra pot Institute, we were successful in the call for proposals by the Ministry of Public Administration of the Republic of Slovenia with the Digital Heritage Incubator (DDI) project. At the beginning of 2022, we started implementing the project, which is aimed at bringing together the cultural heritage sector and the digitization that is essential in the modern era. We have developed a comprehensive program that responds to the challenges of heritage through a series of exciting events and training sessions and builds on this by creating the Duri online platform. The platform is designed to support, inform and connect all those who are already working or would like to work in the field of cultural heritage.

The consortium partners believe that our program for the digital transformation of cultural heritage is unique not only in Slovenia but also in the wider European context due to its community-based approach. In the coming year, the DDI project will become one of the most visible activities of all the participating partners, strengthening awareness of the importance of preserving and developing Slovenian cultural heritage.
