Following the exhibition »Hallerstein and the Silk Road« held at the United Nations in Vienna, the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia in cooperation with the Confucius Institute at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana cordially invite you to attend the opening of an exhibition by Huiqin Wang, which is to take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 8 p.m in the park in front of the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia, Zvezdarska 1, Ljubljana.

The guests will be addressed by Milan Brglez, PhD, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia. The exhibition will be opened by His Excellency Ye Hao, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China.

The exhibition will be showing until 15 October 2017.

A round table will also take place in the autumn as part of the exhibition. It will focus mainly on the issue of popularizing Hallerstein around the world and on the books written about him.

ACE KIBLA in collaboration with DD Trbovlje, MIKK Murska Sobota, Pina Koper, and Zavod 404

Project Mentor Kit is a national partnership collaboration between Zavod 404, Pina Koper, DD Trbovlje, MIKK Murska Sobota, and ACE KIBLA, based on an exchange of good practices and connections in the fields of art, technology, and non-formal education – some of the basic trends in 21st century societies.

ACE KIBLA’s starting points focus on intermedia production in 2017, which will be presented and set up at the exhibition as part of our annual KIBLIX festival (autumn 2017); the topics explored by artists in contemporary intermedia art are the same topics concerned through non-formal education activities by the participating organizations of the project. Workshops will integrate discussions on topics related to the ideas of the body, technology, personality, artistic explorations of human perceptions of existence, movement, migration, environment, biology, nature, or explorations of social structures.

"Multimedia Centre CyberSRCeLab – MMC KIBLA was founded on the 4th of July 1996 as a project of Narodni dom Maribor and Open Society Institute Slovenia, with the legal status as a Slovenian Association for Culture and Education (ACE KIBLA). We set out on a journey back then, anticipating the road ahead of us, bot not knowing where it might end. The same is still true today, even if we can say that we’ve become an organization of local, regional, national, and international recognition."
