You are kindly welcome to attend the opening of a group exhibition titled EKO ART Maribor, on Friday, 19 August 2016 at 8 p. m. at KiBela, space for art (MMC KIBLA, Maribor).

Participating artists: Maša Gala, Stojan Grauf, Lado Jakša, Robert Jurak, Milan Ketiš, Eva Petrič, Ana Pečar, Gregor Pratneker, Lucija Stramec, Jože Šubic and Maja Šivec.

The artists are presented through various media: painting, sculpture, photography, video, installation.

With the participation of acclaimed artists the exhibition EKO ART Maribor highlights and connects art and ecology. Revitalizing the river and the embankment of the river Drava, it raises the awareness of local inhabitants about the river as an integral part of the city life, with the idea of a harmonic coexistence between the two, since the local watercourse is exceptionally inspiring in terms of natural environment, tourism, and also culture.
The project was conceived by photographer Maja Šivec in collaboration with the Maribor Diving Club.

The exhibition will be showing until 10 September 2016.

KiBela, space for art, is open on weekdays between 9 a. m. and 10 p. m., and Saturdays between 4 p. m. and 10 p. m.
