»Time is our ally sometimes, though it is often also our enemy. But it always has to do with truth. And that’s what counts.« (Franci Peperko)
For Franci Peperko, painting was always a discovery. In fact, at times it seemed that he swiftly charged between common diversity and the discovery of new truths. His works were concerned mostly with nature as such; he was intrigued by its orderliness, and at the same time its necessity and purity. The temporal indefiniteness of existence leads Peperko to the realization that the actual “truth” depends each time and exclusively on its opposite. Peperko perfected his skills as an artist and painter at the Arthaus – College of Visual Art in Ljubljana, graduating in 2011.
Franci Peperko took a step beyond infinity, his truth beside him. In absolute infinity, this truth is endless as well. And that’s what counts.
