++— GT22 (Black Box) Ars Electronica animation screening The Ars Electronica Animation Festival is a compilation selected from all the entries in the 2014 Prix Ars Electronica’s Computer Animation/Film/VFX category. It offers an overview of the positions and perspectives of artists worldwide, and impressively documents not only the genre’s explosive growth but also its marvelous content- and stylistic diversity.
– TKALKA 15.00: Making Stencils for LIFT ME UP Kreator Lab / Andrej Petrovčič Kreator:Lab is an open workshop, where visitors and members can use 3D printers, laser engravers, CNC carving machines, foil cutters and much more. With the help of our expertise, at the Kreator:Lab we can create prototypes or unique products on a short notice, while the less experienced have the chance to learn or deepen their knowledge.
The Kreator:Lab is a place of knowledge exchange, and at the same time it is conceived as a platform for education, intergenerational cooperation, creativity, and a way to support artists, creative industries and start-ups. The Kreator:Lab is an aggregator of knowledge in the field of modern digital fabrication.
— at the MMC KIBLA 17.00 Presentation of holograms – lecture by Orest Jarh, PhD, Technical museum of Slovenia, Bistra near Vrhnika The Technical museum of Slovenia recently enhanced their collections with four holograms, which were designed in the mid-seventies at the Iskra Center for Electro-Optics. Orest Jarh, PhD, has been working at the Technical museum of Slovenia for nearly two decades, from which sixteen years as Director, and currently as head of the Electrical Engineering Department. During this period he has been actively engaged in the popularization of science, especially physics. He is the author of several popular-scientific articles, performing lectures and presentations on various popular-scientific and technical topics at the Technical museum, and collaborating at other kindred events.

The pre-events of the MFRU-KIBLIX 2015 festival are conducted in the frame of the VETLICAT project, which is targeted at experts in the field of creative industries – providers and users of vocational training services, including artists, designers and key players in the creative sector.
