ICONS AND DOCUMENTS

You are cordially invited to attend the opening of a group exhibition Icons and Documents by students of the Photography Department at VIST, on Friday, 19 September, at 8 pm, at the Multimedia Center KIBLA.

“Through my left ear I am listening to my mother talking about my father, while my father is talking into my right ear about my mother. It’s been a long time since they were together, which is probably why they have so much to say about one another, especially about responsibilities, about character, about unacceptability, about this endless list of labels, if only I was willing to listen through all of it. In the middle there is a photo of a girl, probably the girl that explains their role as father and mother and all the words about guilt. She glares at me and nothing.”
