LOOP / ZANKA

Welcome to the opening of the exhibition LOOP/ZANKA on Friday, 26 January 2018 at 6 p. m. at the artKIT Gallery in Maribor. As part of an Erasmus+ European project entitled Artists for art education, secondary school students from Croatia have worked alongside Slovene artists for the third year in a row. The ten day traineeship for young artists is carried out under the supervision of a mentor (academy-trained painters).

This year's exhibition features works by twenty students from the School of Fine Arts Split and the High School of Applied Arts and Design Osijek. Their creative work was mentored by painter and sculptor Saša Bezjak, BFA, painter Metka Kavčič, BFA, Aleksandra Farazin, professor of art education, Irena Pamič, professor of art education, Cameron Bobro, producer, and painter Viktor Šest, BFA.
